IBPS RRB XV Edit Window / Correction Window 7–8 October 2026: how to edit form, ₹200 fee, fields you cannot change

IBPS has opened the IBPS RRB XV Edit Window (Correction Window) from 7 October to 8 October 2026, a window of just 2 days, for candidates who want to correct their CRP RRBs XV online application form. The correction fee is ₹200 (inclusive of GST), the same for every category and non-refundable. You can correct and re-submit the form only once, so read every detail carefully before you submit. Use only the official website ibps.in to make the correction.

Edit Window dates and who can correct the form

IBPS issued an Important Notice on 6 October 2026. It says the IBPS RRB XV Edit Window runs from 7 October 2026 to 8 October 2026. During these 2 days candidates can modify or correct their online application form.

Correction is allowed only for candidates who successfully submitted their completed online application form and paid the requisite fee or intimation charges within the specified registration period. The facility covers applications for CRP RRBs XV (Officers Scale I, II and III and Office Assistants Multipurpose). All other terms of the Detailed Notification dated 01.09.2026 remain unchanged.

What you can and cannot change

The following details from your original application cannot be edited in the Edit Window:

• Name
• Email ID
• Mobile Number
• State/UT in vacancy
• State/UT in correspondence address and permanent address
• Post
• Nationality

If there is a mistake in any of these fields, it cannot be corrected through the Edit Window. These fields will stay as you filled them in your original application.

Category change rules and the no-refund rule

Category can be changed only as shown below:

Your current category	You can change to
SC / ST / PwBD	SC / ST / PwBD only
GEN / EWS / OBC (NCL)	GEN / EWS / OBC (NCL) / SC / ST / PwBD

If a candidate changes category from GEN, EWS or OBC to SC, ST or PwBD, the fee already paid will not be refunded.

Correction fee and how to correct your form, step by step

The fee for modifying the application through the Edit Window is ₹200 (inclusive of GST). It is the same for candidates of every category and is non-refundable.

1. Between 7 and 8 October 2026, log in to your CRP RRBs XV application on the official website ibps.in.
2. Check every field first. You can correct and re-submit only once, and a mistake in the corrected form cannot be updated again.
3. Make corrections only in the fields that are allowed, and pay the ₹200 correction fee.
4. If you have more than one application, edit only the latest one.
5. Keep the acknowledgement after you submit the corrected form.

Important rules to remember

• You get only one chance to correct and re-submit. Please read your corrections carefully before you submit.
• Only the latest modified application is treated as valid. With multiple applications, edit the latest one only.
• After 8 October 2026 the Edit Window closes and no change, modification or correction will be allowed under any circumstances.
• Use only the official website ibps.in for the correction and for updates.
