NCA and special recruitment: what it means

An NCA notification is issued when vacancies earmarked for a community stayed unfilled because of paucity of candidates in the earlier (mother) ranked list. Cat. 157 and 158 are the Seventh NCA notification for HSST (Junior) Arabic, and Cat. 161 is the Eighth NCA notification for KSFE Peon/Watchman. Cat. 155 and 156 are special recruitments for ST and SC/ST candidates. Before applying, confirm that your community matches the one named in the notification. Some notifications also require a gazette notification to be produced if the caste or community in the application differs from the SSLC book.
